AMoreBalancedWorld is founded on the belief that there is an imbalance in terms of educational possibilities for the children of privilege and those of the impoverished, and a great desire among many people of means to help the less fortunate.  With the strong conviction that awareness and education are keys to self sufficiency, human dignity, and a better future, we opt for the long term solution of supporting children in their educational goals, rather than other temporary ‘fixes’.

AMoreBalancedWorld will target the areas of the world with intense poverty, where due to lack of sufficient means and material, parents and/or schools are unable to provide an adequate level of education to the children.  To reach those remote areas and make contact with the target beneficiaries, the organization will establish affiliates within local communities to help identify the eligible students and coordinate distribution of funds and donated material.  The organization may also leverage relationships with existing entities with established networks and infrastructure within many communities around the globe, for distribution of its services.

The services provided by AMoreBalancedWorld will primarily depend on the needs of the students it serves and may include a wide range of assistance, from school supplies, lab and sports equipment, and educational material, to tuition, uniform and transportation.  To identify the students in need of assistance, the organization will work closely with the schools/educational institutes enrolling such students.

Since 2009, A More Balanced World has established supportive relationships with beneficiaries in Ethiopia , India , and Los Angeles , CA . In addition, A More Balanced World is developing a growing network of supporters and affiliates, around the world. The organization seeks to raise funds and other means of material assistance, and foster uniquely supportive relationships with school-age youth around the world, in order to assist them in obtaining an education, which can be the primary means of the realization of their potential.
