A More Balanced World 5th Annual Gathering ‘Let’s Put A Youth Through College’
On Saturday October 7, 2017, ‘A More Balanced World’ held its 5th annual gathering at the beautiful Moss Theater in Santa Monica, California. The evening was hosted by the splendid musical artist and storyteller, Ziba Shirazi, esteemed vocalists, Dr. Farimah Shahraz and Mr. M. Reza Sadeghi, as well as social justice activist and community leaders Ron Finely, whom along with Dr. Maryam Zar and Masooma Maqsoodi generously contributed their time and talent to the cause of education as a human right.
Over 250 guests enjoyed an inspiring evening of quality musical performance, fulfilling conversations, testimonies by real life examples of the students we serve, and networking among like-minded friends and education advocates. As the single most important measure of success for the evening, we saw guests leaving the venue with smile on their faces and a sense of fulfillment, renewing their commitment to a more balanced world.
On behalf of the beneficiaries of ‘A More Balanced World’, we would like to extend our hearfelt gratitude to our volunteers, sponsors, and contributors, whose support and generosity make our important work possible. A More Balanced World’ is a global nonprofit organization, funding education of the underprivileged, with 30% of its beneficiaries studying at colleges and universities.
