Faryal’s journey from Herat, Afghanistan, to becoming a beacon of inspiration embodies resilience and determination against all odds. Her academic prowess was evident from the start, setting a high standard for her younger brothers. However, when financial constraints threatened her education, her brother Hasib selflessly deferred his own ambitions to ensure Faryal’s path remained illuminated.
Despite the turmoil engulfing her homeland with the Taliban’s resurgence, Faryal’s commitment to learning propelled her to earn both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics, the latter achieved with exceptional distinction from Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University in Russia. However, the financial hurdles loomed large until ‘A More Balanced World’ stepped in, recognizing her unwavering determination. With their support, Faryal embarked on a PhD journey in Economics in Russia.
Her dedication and scholarly excellence didn’t go unnoticed. Faryal’s academic brilliance propelled her to secure the second rank among young foreign scientists in Russia. This accolade opened doors for her as she was warmly welcomed into the esteemed fold of “Young Scientists” in 2023-2024.
